Today in 2015, Venus in Retrograde was released. I had been working on this little project, songs that came about here & there throughout the year, between my nights and days with support of my colleague & writing partner, Adam (1).

Now I had no idea at the time what any of this meant either lol. Through creating and naming this EP, I went through a 7 year deep dive afterwards on topics I thought I had ample experience and knew about, but had realized I had only scratched the surfaces in: life, love, and astrology.

Venus in Retrograde is a romantic reflection of my life then and I’m so happy I made it (all intentions of the phrase). All of it documented, designed, recorded, captured, & produced on my iPhone 6 Plus - I really used my phone to its highest capabilities that year.
